Home from BayCon, which was the usual con-blend of super fun and super exhausting. Thanks to Apocalypse Girl for being such an excellent Toastmistress, along with a very special extra thanks for the non-literary advice! That worked perfectly.
Today Jay and I have a full day of writing and writing-related program activities planned–I’ll do my edits on “Home” and send it out; work on Nightcraft Mother; then, time permitting, plan and sketch out some future projects, both seekrit and semi-seekrit.
This morning’s intarwebs bring news of the first review of Grants Pass, the forthcoming anthology (August) where my story “By the Sea” will appear. Check it out! Highlights: “It’s rare that I get to read an anthology in which virtually every story is a standout piece, but Morrigan Books have delivered exactly that with Grants Pass… it’s fair to say that there are no ‘fillers’ whatsoever in this book.”
I didn’t get named in the review like SOME people did… 🙂 But, I’ll take the praise anyway.
