Here is what you do when you’re anxious about something that you have little or no control over.
It’s as easy as that.
I’m doing my best to keep up with the dailies of reading ENDURANCE, but it’s been a challenge. I already knew, along with everyone else, that Jay writes faster than any of the rest of us. I am now relearning what I had hints of during PINION (which was then TOURBILLION): he writes faster than most people can even read. I am caught up–for the moment. That will change before the day is done!
Helluva story so far, though, I have to say. I just love Green, love her so much: and here she is again! Wild, smart, fun, and insane as ever. And, if anyone was wondering–the book is going great. Quite a ride! I cannot wait for the next installment, even if I am swamped. 🙂
Because my days do not include a whole lot of reading time, these days anyway…last night the President of Glyptotronics helped me install one more speaker (need more wire for the second one), then we ordered Chinese food. Tonight I am cooking risotto for Curly. Tomorrow night it’ll be back to the NIGHTCRAFT cauldron, for a while anyway…the weekend will feature a hike with yoga folks, visiting parents, and yet another Giants game.
Maybe that’s the other thing you do when you’re anxious about something that you have little or no control over: you keep busy. Real busy.
