After a few days of Not Writing, for one reason or another, I wrote 2,400 words today for a total of 10,000 on OUR LADY OF THE ISLANDS. Yay!
The story is coming along well. I’ve gotten onto the second page of the outline. Which is, um, 18 pages long. So, perfect! 🙂 Books can always be cut down.

Jay has flown back to Portland; I’ll fly up on Sunday to go to his oncology appointments with him next week. Then, we will know what the score is, at least for now. Then we will know if we’re going to WorldCon, and to Jane-O-Trades’ wedding, and all the other things we’ve held off on planning.
Of course I am rooting for no chemo–well, if you want to really get down to it, I am rooting for no cancer–but just to have a plan, a schedule, something nailed down–that is going to be a relief. I just don’t do very well with this limbo thing.
