I’m exhausted. I don’t sleep so well when I travel. And, um, when I have stress.
At least not the first day, anyway. I have high hopes for tonight.
So: Jay sums up the day’s experience, here and here. Go ahead, I’ll wait.
Good? Cool. To which I would add: finding those keys? Highlight of my day! Or, well, at least the most surprisingly delightful part. That it was followed immediately by being drenched in an Oregon downpour as I walked six blocks didn’t, er, dampen my enthusiasm at all. 🙂 See, because I found them in the strangest place: Ken Scholes’ PO box.
Oh, and about injecting the saline and the heparin…yeah. That all seemed perfectly reasonable in the moment (I’ve a long history of injecting a cat with insulin), but right now, it sounds a little confusing and terrifying. I’m sure after I’ve gotten some sleep, it will seem doable once more….
That’s all I got now. Good weekend, everyone.
