La Enigma and her Consort are heading over here to help me with various gardening things, first and foremost the removal of the trunk and whatnot of the Weeping Whatever. (Hey, look at me wielding the fancy nouns! I must be a writer!) 😉

There’s Hobgoblin progress too: I finished the new first chapter and sent it off to Mark, who pronounced it Quite Excellent. Now comes the process of attaching it to the book, and then going through and fixing all the ripples of changes this necessitates–eliminating duplication, making the rest of the story fit the new beginning. This might seem daunting. Well, it is. 🙂
But, I did the first chapter this morning (which is now chapter 2), and I think it went all right. Onward!
Someday this might be a book….
