Workity work today, proofreading The Book of Joby, and doing household stuff, and there is lots more to do, and oh well. I went to yoga class for the first time since I got home, yay!, and also went for a swim this afternoon, so that’s probably why I’m so tired. 🙂 Although ‘tired’ is sort of the state of things these days, it seems. Travel will do that to you.
Apropos of the swimming, it is continuing to feel SOOOO good. Mark says I swim about a mile, in my forty minutes, based on his counting-of-laps (I don’t count, I just swim and keep an eye on the clock). So that’s pretty good.
I planted tulip bulbs today, and some of the iris bulbs–put the irises in the front sidewalk beds, because why not? I still have so many left. And I only planted half the tulips; will do the rest tomorrow. I am all out of gardening shape, I fear.
Oh and yesterday Mark and I procured a bunch of scrap granite and marble, for use in the garden–I want to make a path across the big back bed. Got some really pretty pieces, but they’re still in the car. One step at a time.
Now I step towards bed, I think. Nighty night.
