Busy day around here at the Witchnest, celebrating Mark’s birthday by doing All The Fun Things.
First we slept in, then slept in some more.
Then we went back to the aquarium store, and got some more cherry shrimp, and two catfish! Two! Fish!
They are very cool-looking catfish, as you can see. (BTW, all these photos are from my new phone, what do you think?)
Then we got a Christmas tree.
I used to have a box of Christmas ornaments and stand and stuff, but I can’t find it. Fortunately, Mark had some, and fortunately-fortunately, most of his stuff is stored here. So a quick trip to the basement yielded:
Now the tree is about here (but we are not yet done):
No tinsel yet, or top ornament, but we are sleepy. Somewhere in all this we also went out to a fabulous dinner. And somehow it’s gotten to be 11:30.
Birthdays are great. 🙂
