Alas, Mark did go home today…well, it was a lovely time together, and longer than anticipated, so I am not complaining. Nope. Not at all. Not even a little, tiny, weensy bit.
Nope.
Anyway! After he left, I ate some ice cream, and felt sad; and then got myself motivated and reorganized a bunch of cabinets, adding things of Mark’s that have been stored here, and that I could actually use, but hadn’t been using, due to their being in boxes in the basement and the shed, boxes which we had gone through and unpacked while he was here, extracting selections which we had left all over the kitchen and dining room, necessitating the afore-mentioned reorganizing of cabinets, resulting in a far more felicitous arrangement of both new and old things, as my previous stuff had been unpacked and placed more or less haphazardly when I moved in, which had always kind of bugged me, but now it’s all much better organized. (There: diagram THAT sentence!)
And then I went for a nice swim, and then I went out to see my cousin’s band. They rock!
Here she is, lead vocals and guitar:
After their set, we caught up a little; also between sets of the second band. But I left before the second set of the main band…I’m old and sleepy. (My poor cousin: they have to drive back to Eugene tonight, after they stay for the whole show. Yes, I have a guest bedroom, but they have a sick pet.)
And that’s the news from here. Brr, it’s cold tonight.
