Packing Up

Busy day today, packing to leave for California for a few days. Plus I went to the doctor for this eye-thing, which of course very nearly vanished because I had a doctor’s appointment, but I still went in and he looked at it carefully and gave me some eye drops, plus cortisone cream for the skin around the eyes (yes, not putting that in my eyes!). One treatment for this type of eye problem is what they call as Ocular Steroid Treatment. However, the verdict is still that I am allergic to something.

So I will be on the road a bit and therefore if I don’t blog every day, you’ll know why. Or maybe I will have grand adventures and blog about them voluminously. You never know!

Oh the other thing I did today was get a pedicure, in a new-to-me salon, right in the neighborhood, that is the Best Salon Ever. I should have known by the very name: Princess. And by the fact that when I walked in, they offered me a glass of Prosecco. IT’S LIKE THEY KNEW.

Not much work on Hobgoblin today; just a few paragraphs, then I got busy and also hit a point where I need to do more thinking. Which can be done while packing, as it turns out.

Anyway–speaking of packing: back to it. And writing up the notes for the house-sitting-person, and watering everything, and etc etc.
