I defeated chapter 7 today! (and chapters 8, 9, and 10) (but it was chapter 7 that took all the time). It took hours, and I had to think carefully about every single line, what it meant with what had come before it, and with what was coming next…but I made it through. And cut three pages in the process.
Also, I am wearing my skinny jeans, and they are comfortable. Okay, the medium-skinny jeans, but it has still been some time since I’ve even tried them.
Also-also, I made ice cream again (and apologies if you already saw this on Facebook): Asian pear-blackberry-purple shiso leaf (all from the garden), plus a dash of limoncello. Amazing!
