Well! It was a whirlwind day-and-night in Seattle. We got a lot done and had rather too much fun.
This morning Mark and I took off for Orcas Island. I am extraordinarily pleased to report that we made it here with no drama or adventures whatsoever. No dead battery at the ferry terminal; not even any traffic on the drive up.
It is, of course, raining. But it always does when we’re here. 🙂 We’ve brought all kinds of things to do indoors…including Mark brought his whole collection of Magic cards, and is attempting to teach me the game.
That should be interesting.
We also brought hiking clothes, on the off chance we feel like going outside. We’ll see.
