I mentioned the weekend was going to get even busier? Yeah. That.
Good though!
Saturday we left the east bay and visited some friends in Novato, then went to my brother’s house for a party he was giving for his Fabulous Girlfriend on the occasion of her successfully completing her Ph.D. program in education. Lots of fun people there–including we got to meet several family members of Girlfriend, which was great.
Sunday was brunch at my brother’s, then down to the city for a party at a writer friend’s house, then down to the south bay to hang out with Chaz and Karen, then ultimately arriving at Mark’s brother’s house.
And then today was back up to the city, bringing Chaz along, for a delightful lunch with Karen, then some freelance business, then shopping-and-walking a bit, then back to the south bay, dinner with Mark’s brother, and whew.
Tomorrow, I’m off to visit my parents, leaving Mark in the bay area for a few days longer to conduct some business. I’m hoping the pace settles down a bit….
