Well, I did it, I finally restarted Hobgoblin…I’ve been thinking about it long enough, it was time to finally do it!
I got just over 1,000 words down, in the first scene, and I think it’s good. I could probably have gone further, but I don’t want to rush it. (But I DID have a great insight about some very important character motivation last night, which should serve me well as the novel progresses!)
And, thank you all for your feedback; I’ll choose something from Eel River or The Queen and The Tower to read at Foolscap. Hmm, maybe the opening of Eel River; I read that at FogCon last year, but the audience was pretty small. (a very exclusive group!)
Anyway, I have a few weeks to figure it out. 🙂
