I managed to take photos today!
The new and replanted ground cover looks a little scraggly and worse for wear, not least because it is suddenly a billion degrees here, and everything in the yard is looking a bit fried. So, we watered a lot and are hoping for the best.
But I think the area looks really nice:
Especially considering what was there before.
And, wow, did I mention, hot day?? We went for a swim mid-afternoon, and WOW that felt good. And it was all erased the moment we got out of the pool and went back out into the world…this weather, it is very schizophrenic. Rain rain rain rain–then this.
I’m not complaining, in case you were wondering. I like the heat. 🙂 Just, it’s a rather abrupt shift!
