Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later: Mark went home to Seattle today. 🙁
Actually, it’s okay–we both have lots to do, and we’re going to see each other later this week. But yeah…quiet around here.
I still can’t believe how much he got done while he was here. More gardening than I do in a whole year. And in such heat! Thankfully, today was a tiny bit cooler–I love warm weather but that was getting a little extreme. And the house holds heat (as it should), so each hot day sort of accumulates. Especially upstairs (whenever I go down to the basement, I think, Ooh, we should hang out down here!).
Anyway, not much other news than that. Tomorrow: a swarm of freelance work, chores, errands, and hopefully a swim. Onward!
