We met with a wedding planner/supplies renter person this morning–we can’t afford actual wedding planner services (and we want to plan it ourselves anyway), but she was very helpful and we’re encouraged that we’ll be able to get the stuff we need to have a nice party.
Then we packed up and left the coast, making our meandering-ish sort of way to Mark’s mom’s house up here in the foothills (AKA the Land of A Bit More Internet Than There Used To Be).
Tomorrow we actually point the car in the direction of Oregon and start driving!! I am so excited. We won’t be home till Wednesday, but hey, it’s a start!
