In which tools were bought, consultations were made, and test-areas of deck-removal were achieved.
And a bunch of things happened under the deck, but by the time they were finished, it was too dark for photos. But the upshot is, WOW have we been lucky this thing hasn’t collapsed under us.
As for me: I got back into my Our Lady rewrites in a serious way, finishing scene 9 and going over Mark’s feedback on scenes 7 and 8. Tomorrow: 10!
And, tomorrow the whole rest of the deck might come down.
(This I remember from projects past: demolition goes FAST, construction goes SLOW. Even so, it’s impressive.)
