We had a lovely time on the Oregon coast (just south of Lincoln City), though the weather was fairly dreary. But we were mostly resting and hanging out with family, so that was all right.
Curious Seagull came by our condo every morning, looking for a handout.
Friday night we came back to town, and had a lovely dinner party. Then the rest of the weekend, we both immersed ourselves in going over the book…because, yeah, “done” doesn’t always mean done.
But! I’ve not only sent the manuscript off to the editor, I’ve also sent it to a few awesome people who have agreed to consider blurbing it. So it’s real now! 🙂
Tomorrow, I actually start to get working on something else. Er, like wedding planning. Ahem.
