We are home from the Grand Mini-Reading-Tour of the Northern Parts of the California, hoorah! And a fine reading tour it was. SO MANY PEOPLE came out to see me! Including a dear friend from elementary school days who I hadn’t seen in FOREVER.
(If you follow me on Facebook, and you happened to log in every time I posted, then you’ve likely seen all these photos. But I’m collecting them here, because.)
Mom took lots of nice photos of me for my first reading.
And one after. 🙂
I took a page from Scalzi’s handbook and took pictures of my audiences.

I also realized that, on this five-night trip, we were sleeping in five different beds. (“If it’s Tuesday, it must be…”) So I took pictures of them. The first one after sleeping in it; the rest before.

Motel on the way home:
And then home!
So, so happy to be home–though it was SUCH a good trip. Saw lots of marvelous friends and family, and sold lots of books! And being on stage is getting easier for me, the more I do it. It’s never going to be truly comfortable, but my stagefright is getting smaller and smaller. Which is a good thing, I have to say.
And now, peace and quiet and time for reflection more busy times ahead, with dinner guests and house guests and too much work to do and a novel to rewrite. La!
