I got to work this morning for our regular sales meeting only to be greeted by the news that our office is closing down! We’ll all be able to join other offices within the company, but…wow. This was a surprise.
I’ve really enjoyed the people I’ve worked with there. Some of them will come to the same agency I go to, I imagine; but we’ll mostly scatter.
And it’s not as though I was there every day, that’s not really how it’s done…and I hadn’t been there all that long anyway…but still. Change, you know. Now I will learn new people and new systems and all that.
So, after I left the office, I had to go to the nursery and buy more plants for the yard. 🙂

It’s hilarious, in the aquarium right now: the shrimp are all “Ding dong, the witch is dead!” It didn’t take them long to realize the giant predator is no longer lurking among their waters. They’re all over the place.
