I actually left the house today; had lunch out, and did an errand! Woohoo! Then I came back home and collapsed on the couch for hours. But then I did some freelance work.
I’m feeling tired, but better, cold-wise. Unfortunately my eyes (eyelids, whatever) are bugging me more. I’ve got another call in to the doctor, to see if we can’t figure out what the heck this is, and make it GO AWAY already.
But! It is so exciting! I have a green tomatolet!
(sorry about the fuzzy photo–I told the iPhone “focus on the tomatolet please” and the iPhone said “Yes of course, I understand that you mean to focus on the rim of the pot! I am a machine and I am smarter than you!”)
I grew this same kind of tomato last year: Sungolds. Oh god they were delicious: like candy. And jillions and jillions of them. I am SO looking forward to them again!
(I liked them so much, I planted two plants this year. One of them is the one in the photo above; the second is teeny and spindly and about one-tenth the size of its mate, despite being bought at the same place at the same time, planted in the same soil in pots right next to each other on the same deck, and treated exactly the same way. Go figure.)
