More excellent work on Hobgoblin today…I got back up to where I’d left off and circled back, before; but the question that had stopped me moving ahead the last time was still unanswered, in its particular details; and after a brief but profound conversation with Miss Q, I knew JUST what should happen here…but (you guessed it) that’ll mean another round of going-backs and putting-ins.

Much smaller, this time, because funnily enough, much of the groundwork is already laid. IT’S AS IF I KNEW. Except I didn’t, not enough to really have it work. But I will!
Next week. Because the rest of the day was spent in packing and preparing and ready-making, for tomorrow I travel. WorldCon here I come! (Here we come, actually; Mark and I will fly from Seattle on Thursday.)
Interestingly, in nearly three years of dating, this will be the first time we’ve flown together. We’ve dropped each other off and picked each other up at airports up and down the West Coast; we’ve driven thousands of miles together; but this time we will actually be on the same airplane at the same time. Imagine! I can’t wait to see what that’s like. 🙂
