Back from WorldCon

It was a marvelous WorldCon–I’m so glad I went, even though it felt crazy to interrupt such good progress on editing Hobgoblin. But–apparently the entire science fiction and fantasy community was unwilling to reschedule the con for my own personal convenience, so, I went. 🙂

And had a wonderful time! And didn’t blog at all, so sorry. That was partly due to being so busy doing things away from the computer–meeting friends I’d only met on line before, attending fascinating panels, spending money on books (but I NEED books!), attending great parties, eating too much, talking to people all day long every day–and partly due to not paying the hotel’s internet fees and so therefore using a jury-rigged system just to get email, slowly.

Anyway, Mark and I flew back to Seattle today, and we are both very tired. Actually he is beyond tired, he is sacked out already. I will soon follow. And drive to Portland tomorrow. Goodnight, all!
