Mark and I had already been planning to attend Cascade Writer’s Workshop–a marvelous local workshop I’ve been enjoying for years (so much so that I joined the board); but now we’re going to be running one of the workshopping groups!
Cascade has two different levels of membership:
-For $125 you can attend all classes–and there is an IMPRESSIVE lineup of those. Check out the website to see them all!
-For $245 you can attend all classes, participate in Milford-style workshop critiques (that’s us!) (among others), and have a pitch session with literary agent Cameron McClure.
Both options include time to participate in on-site writing groups.
The workshop is here in Portland in our NICE season–summer! July 25-28, specifically. Last year it was just across the river in little Vancouver (not to be confused with the Canadian Vancouver)–you can see from the group photo on the website how warm and lovely it was. There are still spaces left (but it’s filling up–hence their adding workshop leaders!). Sign up now!
Gosh, I’m almost starting to feel like a professional. 🙂
