I am trying to stay mindful and keep appreciating the really astonishing run of good weather we’ve been having here in Portland. I mean, really, week after week after week of warm (but not hot), sunny, pleasant days and decently cool nights. It’s easy to start taking it for granted.
But not yesterday.
I joined Miss H and Mr B, and we trekked up to see Trek in the Park (see what I did there?) 🙂 Also, since we had to get there so early to get a decent spot on the lawn, we packed a picnic lunch/dinner, and Miss H brought her Star Trek Monopoly game.
The weather, as I keep saying, was just gorgeous.
That’s the underside of the St. John’s Bridge, which I, coincidentally, rode over last weekend.
And this is me enjoying the sun.

Today was all about proofing and putting final touches on the Witches, Stitches & Bitches anthology, except when it was about riding my bike to the gym (in the gorgeous weather) for a swim. Tomorrow REALLY has to be about more Queen & Tower editing; I’ve let a couple of days go by without working on it, and I can’t do that. But, there are only so many hours in the day, and the sun won’t last forever. You know?
