Busy and fun weekend, and productive too: got a lot of work done, of many different varieties, and also spent a splendiferous Sunday drinking too much and playing cards with Camille and Claude for, like, so many hours that lunch turned into dinner. 🙂 And it was all supposed to be entirely different. A bike ride was planned, but, weirdly, it rained. So indoors we went.
And now Mark has gone back home to Seattle for a while; we all have Much To Do. But a few days ago he returned from his recording-work downtown via the Saturday Market. “Research,” he explained to me. “For an illustrator, these are necessary research!”
Well they are pretty cool.
And let’s see, what else? Yard work has been done. Bike-riding not on Sunday has been done (I keep discovering new things I can do on the bike, like going to the chiropractor today; my poor car hasn’t been driven in ages.) I’ve started reading an e-book: yes, old-fashioned me. I wrote a long new scene in Queen & Tower which, while it still needs some work, actually came out not-horrible. (And I was going to work on that more tonight, but, neh. Back to the e-book. Tired!)
