I am about to become Very Busy.
I was perfectly well busy before, but now it gets ridiculous. Ridiculous-good, but still.
Tonight: Sunday night, parents just left a little while ago, I am home. But it is late and I am Made of Tired.
Tomorrow night: laundry, packing, whatnot.
Tuesday: out at a Social Event.
Wednesday: off to Portland, after leaving work early to make flight.
Thursday-Sunday: Jay’s MRI at You’re Kidding Me-thirty, followed by Iron Springs writing retreat, with no internet or cell phone service.
Let me say that again: NO INTERNET OR CELL PHONE SERVICE. Retreat. Incommunicado. Dark. Oh my goodness.
Sunday night late: return to SF.
Monday the 29th: Jay arrives in SF.
Tuesday the 30th: Jay’s second opinion appointment at UCSF.
Thursday July 2: Zombie Club. (Must have read and critiqued novel section before meeting.)
Friday July 3: to Points North, bringing Jay to meet the family.
Sunday July 5: back to SF, putting Jay on a 2:00 plane back to Portland.
