The novel, it is not, in fact, done.
I did, however, send what was done (26 chapters, 433 pages) to Brilliant Editor Jak yesterday, so he can start reading, and because there are a whole lot of other things that need doing around here, that were going to get done as soon as the novel was turned in…on April 30.
Yeah.
Only a few chapters to go! And I’m sure they’ll get written…er…next week. Ish.
Meanwhile, the publication date is now going to be October 28. But it will be worth the wait. It’ll be SUCH a better book, if I do say so myself…
That also means Queen & Tower will slip…till maybe December? Or the new year? Alas.
But, you want good books, not prompt, timely, half-baked books. Right? Please say you do. 🙂
