I completely rewrote the last chapter today. The last chapter!! And it is good. But then of course I went right back to the start of the book; I’m reading it through, in kinda-sorta real time (as if it were, you know, a book, and I’m, you know, reading it), to see how it hangs

So! We actually DID see Cirque du Soleil last night! And it was delightful. We drove up to Seattle, got dressed & ready, then braved EPIC traffic to get to another lovely dinner at The Stone House (including befriending the folks at the table next to us, who were going to the performance as well).

So we never made it to Seattle today…I got on quite a roll with my edits, and even though I got through only one more chapter, I worked on it all day, and wrote a Very Important New Scene, and…I’VE GOT ONLY ONE CHAPTER TO GO!!!! And, well, we can drive to Seattle tomorrow. Cirque
