Home Day

Good day today–I finished a freelance project, and got a lot of household stuff done, and even spent !two! hours in the garden, which was hugely satisfying. The sun was out, it was spectacularly beautiful (even if the ground was still icy in the shaded front yard). And, worked a bit more on Nightcraft Mother, […]

Floating

Real estate day today: office in the morning, looking at homes in the afternoon. Floating homes today, which was, frankly, fascinating. A whole nother world out there on the river. Oh and there was a nice little dusting of snow everywhere when I got up! I even had to scrape the car before I drove

Time

I’m finding a pretty interesting book buried underneath the overwriting in Nightcraft Mother. At least so far. Today I went to work and, after the strictly-business part of the meeting, we played a game where we guess the prices of homes recently sold. They teamed me up

And On

Busy, busy. I keep doing and doing things and there just keeps being more things to do. Although, today, one of the things to do is to read a book, so that’s not all bad. (My new freelance job involves the second book of a series, so naturally I had to read the first one
